Ingredients to serve two people
4 or 5 layers of green cabbage leaves
4 or 5 layers of red cabbage leaves
1 peeled lemon
1 inch ginger
1 pinch of Black Pepper Powder
½ Teaspoon Black salt
1 and ½ cups water
Ice cubes(optional)
1 green apple (optional)
1 tablespoon Sugar (optional)
Steps to Prepare Cabbage Juice
Step 1: Take fresh red and green cabbage leaves. You need to avoid cracked, dried-up or bruised ones.
Step 2: Cut the cabbages using a sharp knife to smaller pieces so that the juicer can easily extract the juice out of it. (If you like the flavor of green apple you can also cut the apple into pieces for different flavor)
Step 3: Take one inched ginger piece, peel it and cut it into small pieces.
Step 4: Grind the pieces of the cabbage and ginger with half cup of water in a juicer for 5 seconds and filter the juice. If possible drink without filtering since it is more beneficial.
Step 5: Add one more cup of water, black salt, black pepper powder and lemon juice. You can also add sugar if you wish.
Step 6: Now the juice is ready to drink. Optionally, add some ice cubes, or refrigerate it for some time to get the better taste.
