It is rich in vitamin B5, vitamin C and antioxidants. It is also proven to maintain cholesterol level in our body.
Ingredients to prepare 2 Glasses of Pomegranate Juice
- Pomegranate – 2 large
- Lemon Juice – 1 teaspoon

Steps to Prepare Pomegranate Juice
Step 1: Take a fresh, nice and shiny pomegranate. You need to avoid cracked, dried-up or bruised one.
Step 2: Cut the fruit using a sharp knife. Cutting pomegranate becomes messy most of the times. Cut around the fruit through the skin; however do not the cut the seeds inside it. Break the halves to smaller sections using your hands.
Step 3: Using your hand, release the seeds from all section and keep into the water. As pomegranates can leave your hands with marks, try applying fresh lemon juice. After that sprinkle a little amount of salt, wipe to work and wash your hands.
Step 4: Grind pomegranate with half cup of water in a juicer for 5 seconds and filter the juice. If possible drink without filtering since the seeds of pomegranate is more beneficial.

Step 5: Add one more cup water, black salt, black pepper powder and lemon juice. You can also add sugar if you wish.
Step 6: Now the juice is ready to drink. Add some ice cubes or refrigerate it for some time to get the better taste.
You can also prepare pomegranate juice without using a juicer. Just compress out the juice using your hand and then strain further using a muslin cloth or you can also use a strainer.
